Our research group
The CRISP research group is composed by the principal investigators Dr Martin Lepage, Researcher, Clinical Psychologist, and James McGill Professor of Psychiatry at McGill University, Dr Geneviève Sauvé, Researcher, Professor at Université du Québec à Montréal, Dr Katie M. Lavigne, Researcher, and Dr Delphine Raucher-Chéné, Researcher, Psychiatrist. Our research group is part of the Douglas Research Centre, second largest mental health research centre in Canada.

We are currently exploring several inter-related dimensions of schizophrenia and psychosis through the use of various clinical, neurocognitive and neuroimaging techniques, such as:

-
MRI and fMRI
-
Neuropsychological testing
-
Cognitive behavioural therapy
-
Cognitive remediation
Our approach is motivated by a desire to better understand negative and cognitive symptoms that often characterize schizophrenia (e.g. memory difficulties, avolition, anhedonia, poor insight, etc.) and to develop research programs that will have significant clinical applications.
